Formalin is commonly used in aquaculture as a treatment for external parasites and fungi, including in Syndel’s Parasite-S®. The Formaldehyde Test Kit can be used to help verify treatment concentrations and exposure levels and, where required, monitor formaldehyde concentrations in effluent.

Kit Contents
The comparator provides formaldehyde readings of 0, 10, 20, 40, 70, and 100 mg/L (ppm).
If the formaldehyde concentration exceeds 100 mg/L, the sample can be diluted and retested to bring the concentration within the test range.
