Parasite-S® is an approved formalin-based parasiticide for aquaculture applications. It is indicated for the control of external parasites on finfish and penaeid shrimp, as well as the control of fungus on finfish eggs and freshwater-reared finfish.
Parasite-S® is produced in FDA and Health Canada-approved production facilities using formalin manufactured to meet applicable regulatory requirements.

Cold Weather Notice
Parasite-S® should not be exposed to temperatures below 40°F (4.4°C). Exposure to temperatures below this threshold can result in the formation of paraformaldehyde, which is toxic to fish.
Because shipping conditions can vary by region and season, customers should plan accordingly during colder weather. Please refer to Syndel’s Cold Weather Authorization Form for additional information.

Formaldehyde vapor can cause severe respiratory irritation and may be life-threatening at high concentrations. Parasite-S® contains methanol and must be handled with appropriate care and personal protective equipment.
Parasite-S® is a combustible, toxic substance. Store in a secure, well-ventilated area away from heat, with the container tightly closed.
Avoid exposure to skin, eyes, and respiratory system. In the event of exposure, flush with clean water and seek immediate medical attention.
Heavily parasitized or diseased fish and penaeid shrimp may have reduced tolerance to Parasite-S®. Follow the approved label directions and consult a fish health professional when appropriate. Dispose of product and treatment solutions in accordance with applicable regulations.
